The darker side of me thought last week’s State of the Union was titilating theater. Nancy Pelosi’s rip job had me getting up for more popcorn. What a show!
Pelosi tearing up Trump’s speech in the final scene really did not bother me. It made it clear how frustrated, aggravated and defeated the old gal is.
Speaker Pelosi gave us insight into what it looks like when you think you’re a genius and you keep losing to a dummy. She’s done enough losing to have the titles reversed. lol.
My lighter side has never seen our country this bitterly divided since 1960’s. That’s right, these aren’t the worst of times, remember we had a deadly Civil War in this country.
I do not think giving Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Honor at the State of the Union was appropriate. But I can’t say the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi didn’t deserve a huge F….. you!!
The Democrats screaming about Limbaugh getting the medal should just shut up. I seem to remember President Obama giving this award to a man who left his mistress to drown after driving off a bridge (Ted Kennedy).
The day after the acquittal verdict came in from the Senate Trump gave a babbling 62 minute “victory lap” speech in front of his loyal troops. I would have gone for more humility, but I can’t deny that Mr. Trump has every right to fire back now.
I fear the Democrats are going to find out just how unforgiving Trump can be. I am sorry…… but don’t say I didn’t warn everybody two years ago.
Trump has beaten the Democrats to a pulp. They collectively look more punched out than George Foreman in Zaire. Watch out Dems. Trump let you punch yourself out and now he is coming off the ropes.
First up on Trumps’s revenge list will be Joe Biden’s involvement in foreign affairs. The investigators are currently tracking the 1.8 billion that Biden was trying to hold back until the Ukrainian prosecutor was fired (Quid pro Joe).
I also believe the Trump gang has the hard evidence to prove there was a coup d’etat in place. Whether you like it or not, it’s true. Peter Strzok, James Comey, James Clapper, and John Brennan will not sleep easy ever again.
From what I am hearing this is really going to get ugly for some fake idols. The money trail winds it way to the Bidens, John Kerry, some bad Ukrainian mobsters and Barrack Obama. Say it isn’t so Joe.
The Democrats sound like Sollozzo (The Turk) in the Godfather, “we hit him with 5 time and he’s still alive, now I am the hunted.” You take your shot and miss you end up with a bullet in your forehead.
Same analogy can be used with the movie ‘Pulp Fiction’: Samuel Jackson and John Travolta watch as bullets seemingly go right through them with no harm. It was a bad ending for those doing the shooting.
The Democrats may recover someday, but currently they are a total mess. The first round in the Democratic primary was a horrible start on their way to finding a candidate that has a chance against Trump.
They are still counting votes in Iowa. The rumor is the Russians and Hillary tampered with the apps. and stole the election from Bernie once again.
Pete Buttigieg won in Iowa? He is the Democrat flavor of the day, but it won’t last long.
I was wondering as I watched Anderson Cooper hosting a Town Hall for Joe Biden if Cooper is in the slow pitch softball Hall of Fame. Cooper was lobbing em in so nice even senile Joe could get a hit.
The first ballot Hall of Fame hurler Don Lemon was on the stage the next night pitching to Bernie Sanders. Le Mon served it up real nice for Sanders.
And then there was Mayor Pete catching Fredo Cuomo’s softballs. What a mutual admiration society CNN and the Democrats have. lol.
Fredo is getting more air time these days on CNN. I think Jeff Zucker sees Cuomo as some sort of moderate. The ratings are sinking and Don Le Mon is unwatchable.
Mitt Romney cast the one Republican vote of guilty in the Senate Trial making him immediately the most courageous man in the world to the Democrats. Romney’s tearful God laced press announcement had me rolling on floor laughing.
No matter which side you are on it is clear Trump is on a roll while the other team is piling up the losses. For the losers the worse is yet to come.
I watched Steve Bannon on ‘Real Time’ with Bill Maher the other night. Bannon was on top of his game and had Maher walking away shaking his head on his own show. Mr.Bannon and Mr.Trump make for strange lovers.
Isn’t it time for these old timers to step aside and make way for a new generation of public servants. Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and Bernie Sanders should turn up their hearing aids and listen to me.
The Democrats continue to live in Groundhog’s Day. They can’t resist calling Trump supporters stupid, cool-aid drinking rubes. The more they hang on to this strategy the stronger the President gets.
Can you imagine a 77 year old former Republican white billionaire might have the best chance for the Democrats. Does anybody but me see the humor in this situation.
Trump did sound like Michael Corleone at the end of ‘The Godfather” in his revengeful rant last Thursday. “Now it is time to take care of all family business.” the former head’s of the CIA, FBI, DOJ should head to the mattresses.
In the next couple of week you are going to hearing the name John Durham often. Sticking with the Godfather theme he is Luca Brasi, Willie Cicci and Al Neri combined into one. He’s is preparing to take a few old political hacks out.
Today the New Hampshire primary will go a long way to determining who the Democratic presidential candidate will be. My money says that Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders is going to make a big move.
