The old elephants of the Democratic party came out of the basement this week for the National Democratic Convention. They virtually put me to sleep.
Michelle Obama opened things up with a speech that was taped two weeks ago. lol. What can you say? She is so righteous, virtuous, intelligent , and she reads well too.
Former Republican Governor John Kasich of Ohio gave a very moving talk as he stood at a literal crossroad. At first I thought it was a weird attempt at humor and that was just before I threw up.
Former President Obama gave a dark and gloomy speech insinuating that four more years of Trump will be the end of Democracy. Would someone please tell Barrack that it was his “do-nothing” Presidency that gave us Trump.
Kamala Harris gave a speech that reinforced this is the weakest ticket in American History. This phony will be the president very shortly if the American people elect Biden. She is plain unlikeable.
The Democrats Convention should have given Biden a big bounce in the polls. It did not, in fact the week of the convention Trump moved up in the polls.
It is obvious that not even the Democrats like the Biden/Harris ticket. The only issue, and only policy is a deep hatred of Donald Trump. The man who spoiled their party.
Finally we get to “Sleepy Joe”. After seven walk throughs for one speech Biden was able to read his 25 minute speech without incident. At least that proved he is not fully senile yet.
I can’t imagine once Biden is asked tough questions that he doesn’t know are coming from tough journalists. Mark my words: it is going to get very uncomfortable for everybody.
The Democrats did not set the bar very high with their virtual convention. It will be an easy act to follow for the Republicans next week.
